To "www" or not to "www" during a CivicSpace install?

This may be of some use to those of you about to install CivicSpace. I came across an interesting bug in the CivicSpace installation process. Since I used the automated installer, I needed to navigate to (my domain name)/install.php to begin the installation process, after uploading all of my files (Note: Civicspace was being installed in my root directory, otherwise I would have had to specify the entire path through any sub-folders to the install.php file).

What You Need To Know Before Installing CivicSpace

Before installing CivicSpace, there are a few things you need to be able to do. Checking your ability to handle these prerequisites and, if necessary, researching them till you can do them properly will probably make your CivicSpace installation much smoother.

The Automated CivicSpace Install

Obviously, I wasn't looking to make this harder than it had to be, so I used the instructions for the automated install. The first step was to download the latest version of CivicSpace. I downloaded version 0.8.2 (released Dec. 1st) from the CivicSpace download page.
